I may want to add that I have also felt in my heart that God could be showing me that she could possibly be Mrs. Right in the future. Please pray that she be the one for me. I'm 38, never married and I've been praying and seeking Mrs. Right for more than a decade. But whoever it may be, pray for me on that also.

May the Lord open our eyes to see if we are in Him... submitting to one another as Christ submitted to His Father. Let us love one another that we may know we are of God. Let us hear what the Lord is saying in our hearts that we may walk righteously before Him. May we be a people that will repent and turn from our wicked ways in the name of Jesus. Never forgetting that He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and will cleanse us from all unrighteousness. May our souls be satisfied with the riches of Heaven.
In Jesus’ Name. Amen

Hello,
Four years ago Jean was helping a Jericho Place client who was being evicted from her apartment. This single mom had three daughters, Melanie aged 15, Jenny aged 8, and an infant baby. They were going to have to go to a shelter because the infant baby’s father could not take the older girls into his one bedroom apartment so Jean & I offered to take in the two older girls. Jean took them back and forth to school in West Warwick. We did this for two or three months until their birth mother was able to take them back. The girls had to go to the boyfriend’s apartment and sleep in the living room.
Over time the girls kept in touch and Melanie got married to a Navy guy in Groton and had a baby, Wayde, three weeks ago. Jean was the first to be called and of course went right to the hospital.
Jean went to visit Melanie and the baby this past Tuesday and Melanie was having headaches along with dizziness and blurred vision. Jean insisted that they go to see her doctor. The doctor found her blood pressure extremely high and called an ambulance. Jean followed them to the hospital. After many hours in the hospital and a MRI they determined that the cause was due to a brain tumor in the center of Melanie’s brain. Melanie’s husband, Jeremy, was home watching the baby while this all happened.
Yesterday the New London Hospital determined that Melanie needed to be transferred to Yale Medical Center in New Haven. Jean rushed back to New London yesterday and picked up the baby and Melanie’s husband Jeremy and brought them to the hospital. Jeremy went with Melanie in a specially equipped life support ambulance to Yale Medical Center. Jean brought the baby home to stay with us while they determine a course of action. A biopsy will be done on the tumor, which is inoperable, and they will probably have to do radiation treatment to reduce the size of the tumor to relieve the pressure on her brain.
Please pray for Melanie and her husband Jeremy and for us taking care of their three week old baby, Wayde. Keep in mind we never had kids until we got Josh at age 12.
In His Service,
Rich Canning
